Savannah Barnes, founder of Sagebrush Acupuncture, has been passionate about the healing arts most of her life. Like many in these fields, she came to it in order to heal herself. She earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe and is a licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Montana. Her studies included internships at the Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center’s Oncology treatment center and rehabilitation wing as well as at The Life Link (homeless) transitional living facility and a low-income preschool. Never one to quit learning, Savannah has pursued advanced training in Acupuncture for Hospice and Palliative Care and to treat addictions.
Savannah is known for establishing strong patient rapport and applying gentle needle techniques. Recent successes include treatments for multiple sclerosis, sciatica, kidney stones, hypertension, neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, anxiety, insomnia, depression, phantom leg pain, shingles, Bell’s Palsy, post-stroke aphasia, back pain, knee pain, and more.
